Itinerary:
Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Sahara desert
Your 6 days from fes to Marrakech desert tour will start early morning with a pick up from your hotel/riad and then drive towards Midelt via the high atlas mountains stopping by Ifrane Switzerland of morocco where you will have a short stop for a coffe and then to the cedar forest of Azrou where you might have the possibility to meet some local Apes the road continue via some berber villages before arriving to Midelt , stopping for lunch . Afterwards you will drive to Erfoud which is well known for menerals and fossils ,once you arrive to the dunes of Erg Chebbi you will be taking off road taking you to the edge of the golden sand dunes where you will meet your camels , the luggage will be loaded in a 4×4 car and transported to the camp, After reaching your destination, you will be greated with some mint tea before showing you your tent for an overnight with a very traditional dinner .
Day 2 : Sahara desert – Rissani – Todra gorge – Dades valley
You will wake up to watch the best sunrise on the top of the dunes ,take some lovely pictures before walking back to have breakfast and take a shower for Sunrise lovely pictures and then take the camels back to the town of Merzouga ( there is also the option of going back with the car ) to depart to rissani to visit its famous local market and then to Erfoud again before arriving to the massive fascinating todra gorge a great spot for rock climbing , take a walk, see some nomad Bedouin people ,afterwards drive straight to Dades valley for an overnight in a hotel.riad.
Day 3 : Dades valley – Kelaa mgouna –skoura- Ouarzazate
After breakfast in your hotel you’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and The route of thousand kasbahs providing numerous and charming views.you may stop to visit a 17th century Kasbah called Amredil.Afterwards ,you will drive through “the city of roses”,which is known for the production of the rose water Continuing into Skoura and and its palm groves before getting to Ouarzazate “the Hollywood of Africa” attracted many world class movies producers.visit Atlas Film corporation studios before reaching your hotel for an overnight.
Day 4 : Ouarzazate – Ait ben haddou – Marrakech
After having breakfast in your hotel,you will start your journey to Marrakech,by well known site Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Thelargest one in Morocco and( UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1987) before driving through the majestic Tizi n’tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Overnight at hotel /riad.
Day 5 : Day Trip From Marrakech To Essaouira:
You will leave Marrakech early morning starting the journey to the beautiful Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast. Once you arrive at the port city, formerly known as Mogador, you will have free time to enjoy the charming sights of Essaouira, including its ocher-colored walls, the beautiful Moulay El Hassan square, and the souks, as well as the little streets of the city’s old Medina. Enjoy a fresh sea food lunch in a local restaurant after lunch there will be also enough time to walk along the beach before returning back to Marrakech late time
Day 6 : Marrakech Sightseeing – departure or dropp of at your riad/hotel
Today you will have a guided tour to discover the most exotic places of Marrakech,including the famous Jamaa El fna square, Majorelle Gardens, Saadianas Tombs with a stroll in the labyrinth of the narrow streets of the Medina amongst its famous Souks. Before dropping you off either at the airport or at you hotel/riad for the end of your 6 days tour
